In a recent panel hosted by the University of Washington, five entrepreneurs shared their advice on what it takes to launch a life science company and what they learned along the way.
The panel included insight from Barry Lutz, co-founder of Anavasi Diagnostics; Rob Alfieri, CEO of Apertur; Ingrid Swanson Pultz, former CEO and chief scientific officer of PvP Biologics; Christopher Allan, UW Medicine hand surgeon; and David Younger, CEO of A-Alpha Bio.
Each leader provided recommendations for navigating the life science industry, including setting realistic timelines, lining up vendors, finding balance, and working with partners and customers.
