University of Washington Lands $50M from National Science Foundation to Lead New Center for Research Security

Backed by $50M from the National Science Foundation, the University of Washington will lead a national consortium of research institutions in a new effort aimed at addressing research security and integrity.

The Safeguarding the Entire Community of the U.S. Research Ecosystem (SECURE) Center is intended to “establish a national infrastructure and collaborative partnership of academic institutions, nonprofits and businesses, engaging them in the design, development and delivery of capabilities.
