The Allen Institute has launched a 10-year project called CellScapes to create a mathematical language that describes how human cells behave. Using human stem cells, the 75-person team aims to track, model, and predict how cells move, change, and develop over time. The goal is to better understand disease processes like cancer and ultimately enable new cell therapies.
