Allen Institute Opens Education Lab to Support and Inspire Next Generation of Scientists in Seattle and Beyond

The Allen Institute has opened its 1,327 square foot Education Lab, a hands-on learning space for students, educators, and scientists. Equipped with advanced tools – fluorescent microscopes, a 3D printer, and real research samples – the lab offers an immersive experience in biomedical science. Part of the Institute’s Education and Engagement Program, it brings cutting-edge research to life, allowing participants to explore DNA and the microscopic world using the same instruments as top scientists.
