University of Washington Researchers Discover AI-Powered Breakthrough that Could Boost Precision Cancer Treatment

University of Washington (UW) researchers have developed a new way to treat cancer using AI-designed proteins that bind to diseased cells and attract immune cells to destroy them. Led by Nobel laureate David Baker, PhD and UW Medicine’s Institute for Protein Design, the breakthrough is being published in Science and will be commercialized through a new startup.
