Seattle-based startup Casera is emerging from Pioneer Square Labs with an AI-powered software platform designed to automate case management tasks and support patient flow in hospitals.
Casera’s product uses agentic AI to operate as a digital assistant for hospital case managers, monitoring communication channels and triggering next steps such as following up on prior authorizations or coordinating discharge tasks. Casera’s system plugs into existing collaboration and communication tools, and helps identify “what needs to happen, who needs to be involved, and helps ensure it gets done,” according to CEO Neeraj Singh Bhavani.
Casera’s launch reflects how agentic AI is being increasingly applied within the Pacific Northwest to address operational challenges in hospitals.
