Kirkland’s EIT Pharma Announces Milestone for Drug Treating Chronic Hepatitis D

Kirkland-based EIT Pharma announced that the FDA accepted its New Drug Application for Lonafarnib, an investigational oral therapy for chronic hepatitis D, for review. Following its acquisition of the late-stage program in 2024, EIT Pharma worked with regulators and collaborators to advance the therapy toward potential commercialization.
