Join Life Science Washington for an informational session on the NIH National Cancer Institute (NCI) Commercialization Readiness Pilot (CRP) Program, featuring direct insights from NCI SBIR Development Center Program Directors Jonathan Franca-Koh and William Bozza, as well as a company perspective from Steve Eacker, CEO of CytoTerra, Inc.
The CRP Program helps small businesses with NIH-funded SBIR/STTR projects advance late-stage research toward commercialization and patient impact. The program supports activities such as first-in-human clinical testing, commercialization-focused development, specialized technical assistance, and other resources to help move breakthrough technologies toward the market. Unlike typical NIH research grants, CRP allows applicants to subcontract a significant portion of the work to outside experts while maintaining oversight and management of the project.
Attendees will gain practical insights from our speakers on:
- CRP requirements and eligibility
- Recent program updates and funding opportunities
- Best practices for preparing competitive applications
- Tips for navigating the application process
- How to leverage the program to advance research toward commercialization
- Live Q&A with the speakers
