Top 10 U.S. Biopharma Clusters

Seattle came in at No. 8 on Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News’ list of the top 10 U.S. life science clusters. The ranking is based on each region’s National Institutes of Health funding, venture capital funding, patents, lab space and jobs. Seattle was recognized for its top universities and institutions as well as the widespread success of local companies over the past year, including Alpine Immune Sciences, Sana Biotechnology and Silverback Therapeutics.
