DEMYSTIFYING SBIR/STTR FUNDING – Part 1

12:00 pm - 1:30 pm PST

There are 11 Federal agencies that participate in programs that offer over $3.5 billion per year to majority US-owned small businesses in grant money and contracts. The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are excellent sources of non-dilutive funding that can be critical in scaling your startup.

On September 8th and 15th, Life Science Washington Institute will be hosting a two-part virtual grant writing bootcamp to help demystify SBIR/STTR funding routes. This series is for anyone interested in learning more about SBIR and STTR funding opportunities and those who want to effectively compete for these awards to develop and commercialize innovative technologies. The bootcamp serves as an “intro” to the SBIR/STTR programs. At the end of the series, participants will be equipped and prepared to submit a proposal for SBIR or STTR funding.

Day 1 will be in person in Spokane, WA and available to join virtually. Day 2 will be virtual only.
