Bristol Myers Squibb Doles Out $8M in New Grants to Improve Health Equity with Cardiovascular, Oncology Focus

Bristol Myers Squibb announced its newest round of funding as part of its 2020 pledge to donate $150M over the next five years to organizations focused on reducing health disparities. Nearly $8M in grants will be distributed to two dozen nonprofits focused on improving access to healthcare in underserved communities, through trusted community healthcare workers and patient navigators. The grants, which tend to range from one to three years, are aimed at supporting four therapeutic areas: cardiovascular disease, hematology, immunology and oncology. So far, BMS’ contributions have totaled more than $39M.
