A new 11-story life sciences building is underway in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood. The 1916 Boren tower will include 282,700 square feet of space, of which the Seattle Children’s Research Institute has pre-leased 124,000 square feet.

The Boren tower is the newest among other Puget Sound life sciences projects. A few of the tower’s amenities include large windows, dedicated freight elevators, and a conference center with meeting rooms and collaboration space.

“We’re excited about the potential (1916 Boren) offers to meet the growing needs of our downtown workforce, as Seattle Children’s Research Institute continues our work to cure childhood disease and improve outcomes for children all over the world,” said Dr. Eric Tham, senior vice president and chief research operations officer at Seattle Children’s.
