Poster Presentations
Poster Presentations are an excellent opportunity for early-stage entrepreneurs, research teams, and startups to have one-on-one conversations with other experts in your industry, get feedback about your ideas, and answer questions about your research or work. It could even lead to finding your next investor, employee, or employer!
Criteria
- Applicants should be either a student, student group, or early-stage life science companies in the discovery, development, or commercialization stage of business.
- Applicants should plan to attend LSINW and be available to present their poster during designated and high-traffic times.
- Selected poster presenters must be registered and pay associated fees in advance of LSINW as follows:
- Student Groups: $250 – includes 2 full conference registrations
- Companies: $350 – includes 2 full conference registrations
Key Details
- Applications are due March 20, 2024. All applications will be reviewed by Life Science Washington.
- Selected participants will be notified shortly after and receive an invoice with conference registration instructions. The invoice must be paid prior to the event.
- Life Science Washington will provide a poster template to all selected participants before LSINW.
- Each presentation gets two conference passes.
Fast Pitch Showdown
Have a great life science pitch? A one-minute pitch could land your company $5,000!
Bring your A-game as you deliver your elevator pitch to a panel of seasoned life science industry investors, entrepreneurs, and strategic partners at the Seattle Convention Center for Life Science Innovation Northwest 2024 (LSINW), presented by Life Science Washington
If your pitch is selected as the best of the best by the panel of judges, you’ll win the $5,000 Judges Choice Award to put towards the development of your organization’s product and/or services! In addition to the Judges Choice Award, LSINW attendees have the opportunity to bestow the Audience Choice Award on their favorite pitch.
This is a unique opportunity to hear specialized feedback that could help direct your future and let you walk away with funding. There is no cost to apply or participate. Participants will need to register for the conference.
Criteria
- Life science companies and organizations at any stage are encouraged to apply.
- Eligible companies cannot have raised over $2M in dilutive funding.
- LSINW attendance does not guarantee participation in the Fast Pitch Showdown.
- You must apply to be a part of the showdown. The deadline to apply is March 20, 2024.
Key Details
- The Fast Pitch Showdown will take place during LSINW 2024 on April 17, 2024.
- Each pitch will be 1 minute in length.
- Selected participants must attend a virtual mandatory pitch coaching session the week of April 1-5, 2024.
Company/Research Institution Presentations
Company/Research Institution Presentations are the perfect way to increase visibility and attract potential strategic partners within the life science community. Present your organization’s story and objectives. Participate among the region’s top companies, institutions, and non-profits.
Criteria
- Partner organizations that want to get their name out to life sciences community leaders, scientists, business development professionals, and C-level executives.
- Applicants must be life science organizations in the discovery, development, or commercialization stage of business.
- There is no cost to apply for a presentation. Selected presenters must be registered and pay company presentation fees in advance of LSINW. Fees include two conference passes. Fees are as follows:
- Institution/Non-Profit: Members: $750, Non-members: $1000
- Private Company: Members: $1050, Non-members: $1,550
- Publicly Traded Company: Members: $1,600, Non-Members: $1,850
Key Details
- Applications are accepted now and are due by March 20, 2024. All applications will be reviewed by Life Science Washington.
- Selected participants will be notified shortly after and receive an invoice with conference registration instructions.
- Each company presentation is 10 minutes long, including Q&A.
- Confirmed company presenters will be given designated speaking times during the conference.
- Each presentation gets two registrant spots.
