Eric Larsen is the Innovation Fund Manager at Alliance of Angels where he is also co-head of the Life Sciences Screening Committee and a seasoned investor‑operator who backs emerging Northwest companies. Drawing on deep expertise in engineering, technology, finance, and operations, he actively advises startups and has led numerous fundraising rounds.
Previously, Eric was instrumental at Quellos, where he built Quasar, the platform that scaled the firm from 17 employees managing $324 million to 350 employees managing $25 billion. After BlackRock acquired Quellos’ hedge‑fund business in 2007, he expanded Quasar’s CRM into Aladdin CRM, now used by 5,000+ employees. He later served on BlackRock’s Global Operating Committee, redesigned its global websites, and founded the Client Analytics group, delivering data‑driven tools that increased sales and client retention.
