With 20 percent of the national workforce working remotely, a recent report by Wallethub reveals that Washington is the eighth-best state to work from home.

The study analyzed several metrics, including internet costs and accessibility, cybersecurity, electricity costs, and the size and level of crowdedness of homes.

Washington ranked fifth in the share of the population working from home and third in both internet access and the average retail price of electricity.
