Redmond-based ear-cleaning device company SafKan has raised $13M, according to a December filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. SafKan co-founder and CEO Sahil Diwan said the company would share more details in January. The company currently has 10 employees listed on LinkedIn.

SafKan, founded in 2016, makes a headset for cleaning earwax called the OtoSet. On its website, the company says its device is currently available for clinical use by health care professionals, but SafKan is developing a direct-to-consumer version as well. SafKan launched when co-founder Aadil Diwan, Sahil’s brother and the company’s chief technology officer, needed a solution for his own earwax buildup.
