Investments are running high in the city, with a report by The Life Science Washington Institute indicating the life science companies garnered over $5.1B in funding in 2021 with participation from over 180 investors in 112 deals.
Seattle’s life science industry is living up to the name as one of the strongest markets in the country with new life science real estate expansions from the Allen Institute and Seattle Children’s Research Institute. The city has almost 1 million square feet of lab space currently under construction.
