Parse Biosciences Raises $50M for Single Cell Sequencing Tech

Seattle biotech startup Parse Biosciences received $50M in funding from a Series C equity round. Capitalist firms including Soleus Capital, Marshall Wace and Bioeconomy Capital were among those participating in the round. 

Led by co-founders Charlie Roco and Alex Rosenberg, Parse Biosciences was founded in 2021 after spinning out of the University of Washington three years prior. The company specializes in single cell sequencing, and its products are used in over 1,000 labs across the globe.
