TwinStrand Biosciences, UW Notch Another Legal Victory in Patent Dispute with Guardant Health

Seattle biotech TwinStrand Biosciences and the University of Washington secured a $245.2M patent infringement judgment against Guardant Health over DNA sequencing technology developed at UW. A federal court upheld a 2023 jury verdict, awarded damages and royalties, and ordered Guardant to continue paying a 6% royalty on covered products through 2033.
