Join Life Science Washington Institute in January 2024, for part two of our grant writing bootcamp to help demystify SBIR/STTR funding routes.
This series is for anyone interested in learning more about SBIR and STTR funding opportunities and those who want to effectively compete for these awards to develop and commercialize innovative technologies. The bootcamp serves as an “intro” to the SBIR/STTR programs. At the end of the series, participants will be equipped and prepared to submit a proposal for SBIR or STTR funding.
At the end of the series, participants will be equipped to begin the process of preparing a proposal for SBIR or STTR funding. Richard Giersch will lead the bootcamp. 1. Find a funding opportunity announcement (FOA)
- NIH Matchmaker can be used to conduct keyword searches of a particular topic area to help you identify Institutes or Centers that have previously funded research in that area.
- Search the 2024 Program Descriptions and Research Topics to identify priority research areas.
- View targeted SBIR/STTR funding announcements, focused on specific research areas.
