Philips Rolls Out Major AI Upgrades for Cardiac Ultrasound Platforms

Philips is rolling out a major update to its cardiovascular ultrasound systems with the new Transcend Plus software suite. Available on EPIQ CVx and Affiniti CVx systems, it builds on last year’s launch by adding AI-powered 2D and 3D applications that automatically calculate key heart measures, such as ejection fraction and chamber volumes, while enhancing image sharpness, contrast, and detail for improved diagnosis and care.
