Poster Presentations
Poster Presentations are an excellent opportunity for early-stage entrepreneurs, research teams, and startups to have one-on-one conversations with other experts in your industry, get feedback about your ideas, and answer questions about your research or work. It could even lead to finding your next investor, employee, or employer!
Requirements
- Applicants should be early-stage life science companies in the discovery, development, or commercialization stage of business.
- Applicants should plan to attend LSINW and be available to present their poster during assigned times.
- Selected poster presenters must be registered and pay associated fees in advance of LSINW as follows:
- Student Groups: $175 – includes 2 full conference registrations
- Companies: $275 – includes 2 full conference registrations
Key Details
- Applications are due Tuesday, March 31. All applications will be reviewed by committee.
- Selected participants will be notified shortly after and receive an invoice with conference registration instructions. The invoice must be paid prior to the event.
- Life Science Washington will provide a poster template to all selected participants before LSINW.
- Each presentation gets two complimentary conference passes.
Device Showcase
Present your medical device during the new Device Showcase at Life Science Innovation Northwest! This is a great opportunity for early and mid-stage entrepreneurs, research teams, and startups to showcase signature technology, network, and receive feedback on their prototype/design.
Requirements
- Applicants should be early-stage life science companies in the discovery, development, or commercialization stage of business.
- Applicants should plan to attend LSINW and be available to discuss their technology during designated and high-traffic times.
- There is no cost to apply for the Device Showcase. Selected technologies must be registered and pay associated fees in advance of LSINW.
Key Details
- Applications are due Thursday, March 31. All applications will be reviewed by Life Science Washington Institute
- Selected participants will be notified shortly after and receive an invoice with conference registration instructions.
- Life Science Washington will provide a 10’x10′ space including:
- Black 3′ high back drape
- Black 3′ high side drape
- One 6′ table skirted in black
- Two side chairs
- Complimentary wifi
- One complimentary conference pass
- The Device Showcase will take place within a special section of the exhibit hall throughout the duration of LSINW.
Fast Pitch Showdown

Do you have a life science company with a great pitch? Apply today for the chance to win $5,000 or $1,000!
If your pitch is selected as the best of the best by the panel of judges, you’ll win $5,000 to put towards the development of your organization’s product and/or services! If your pitch is selected as the top of the crop by the audience, you’ll win $1,000 to put towards your organization!
This is a unique opportunity to hear specialized feedback that could help direct your future and let you walk away with funding. There is no cost to apply or participate. Participants will need to register for the conference.
Criteria
- Eligible companies cannot have raised over $1MM in dilutive funding.
- LSINW attendance does not guarantee participation in the Fast Pitch Showdown.
- You must apply to be a part of the showdown. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 15.
Key Details
- The Virtual Fast Pitch Showdown will take place during LSINW 2022 on April 20.
- Each pitch will be 1 minute in length.
- Selected participants must attend a virtual mandatory Presentation Pitch Clinic on April 1, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM PDT
Company/Research Institution Presentations – Waitlist Only
Criteria
Waitlist Only – Company/Research Institution Presentations are the perfect way to increase visibility and attract potential strategic partners within the life science community. Present your organization’s story and objectives. Participate among the region’s top companies, institutions, and non-profits.
- Partner organizations that want to get their name out to life sciences community leaders, scientists, business development professionals, and C-level executives.
- Applicants must be life science organizations in the discovery, development, or commercialization stage of business.
- There is no cost to apply for a presentation. Selected presenters must be registered and pay company presentation fees in advance of LSINW. Fees include two complimentary passes and typically represent the most inexpensive access to the conference. Fees are as follows:
- Emerging Company (Year 1 or 2): Members: $500, Non-members: $750
- Institution/Non-Profit: Members: $650, Non-members: $900
- Private Company: Members: $950, Non-members: $1,450
- Publicly Traded Company: Members: $1,500, Non-Members: $1,750
Key Details
- Applications are accepted now and not considered after Tuesday, March 15. All applications will be reviewed by Life Science Washington.
- Selected early-stage ventures will be notified by Friday, March 25 and receive an invoice with conference registration instructions.
- Each company presentation is 15 minutes long, including Q&A.
- Confirmed company presenters will be given designated speaking times during the conference. All presentations with Q&A at the designated speaking time will be recorded and posted for post-event streaming.
- Each presentation gets two registrant spots.
